Reflections on the emotional dimension behind conservation science
Richard Hobbs is stepping down as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Restoration Ecology. After 10 years at the helm, he’s engaged with the whole spectrum of ideas that underpin the field of restoration ecology. It’s been an exciting and fulfilling time but he has often been surprised by the intensity and discord in some of the arguments and the resistance in some quarters to the emergence of new ideas.
